Cranky it Up!

It’s a folksy, bluesy blend  of music and musings. Indulge in a delicious mix of cool tunes including listeners’ requests.  All served with steaming side orders of cultural commentary and inspiration
And Amy Beth welcomes  James Fearnley, a member of the fantastic band Cranky George, for a creative conversation about inspiration, aspiration and the music biz. And we sample the group’s infectious and unique blues-folk-rock hybrid sound.

Radio Resolutions

"This is a GREAT show! Its a crazy good flashback to old school free form radio!! Amy Beth is a DJ/host who knows her stuff about music, books, politics, movies etc. Good guests, too. Unpredictable, warm and funny. This is appointment radio at its best!- Stitcher Review

I'm not big on New Year's resolutions. But I do believe in deliberate and progressive change. With that in mind: our show will carry on through 2016, an energetic, positive, often raucous radio ride fueled by invigorating commentary, music and inspiration.

An intriguing array of guests will help us weave that fabulous mosaic of voices from the arts, pop culture, personal growth and justice for which our show is known.

And there's creative inspiration. And the free-form radio magic that just emanates organically- hot topics, music and cultural commentary. And thanks to the 24/7 social media matrix, our conversation is inclusive and never-ending. We ask you to chime in live or anytime that works for you.

Feel free to use that chime to ring us up about a story or topic that means something to you; something you think other folks would like to learn about and talk about.

Tell us what's what. Use the #BigStory calling card on Twitter. Or reach out via this blog, Facebook or email at the website. Guest suggestions welcome too.

Listen when you want: live most Tuesdays & Fridays at noon ( ET) Be on the listen for special late afternoon editions on PopNet. Of course the beauty of the on demand deal: you can listen whenever & wherever you want!

Our scope has grown, too, as we've added more outlets including the Arts Radio Network and PopNet, which have garnered us air-time on several terrestrial stations nationwide. And we are now available  via Mixcloud and Stitcher, allowing listeners to download apps and listen virtually anytime, anywhere.

All podcasts can also be accessed via our website.

Creative inspiration propels my life on and off air, so I'm gratified by the number of folks who've tried our Inspiration To Action challenge and shared their successes. We'll continue this and other features designed to re-ignite creative passions and jump-start productive changes.
